Welcome To My New Front Porch!

I told y'all I was gonna paint the house yellow and I love the color--it's Benjamin Moore 'Humblegold Yellow'.  I've just replanted the front gardens so the plants and flowers are itty bitty.

I am embracing my Florida lifestyle, so flamingos are scattered everywhere!

Yes ma'am, I put these darling little babies out front!

The new porch gate has been installed...

It's "Flip Flop Season" y'all!

A bright-colored wreath was mandatory!

Flamingos and Flip Flops...

I painted the old bench a sweet blue and had some pillows made using the Lilly 'Hotty Pink First Impression' fabric...

I ended up using blue, pink, and yellow as my colors on the porch.

The cute flamingo pillow is from my BJ Joy...she found it at Ikea.

Seashells displayed on a HomeGoods find.

Last night we enjoyed Happy Hour, aka "Merlot Hour" on the porch.

Crap dip and cheeseball appetizers...

This was my view as the sun began to set over Florida.

The table set for supper--with pink, white, and blue.

The Lilly 'Hotty Pink First Impression' napkins were custom-made and adorned with light blue seahorse napkin rings.

Monogram mania!

My new rule for sipping beverages on the front porch!

Sunday Night Soiree

I promised y'all the photos from our Sunday Night 'Sips n Nibbles' party...Like everyone, I feel like I can't keep up from Thanksgiving to New Years!  I'm soooo behind!

I set up nibbles on the island in the kitchen.  I served dips from my Taste of Gourmet foods and chips.

"Here's What I Wore"   Black slacks, a white turtleneck, and this cute apron from my "Prissy Apron Collection."   Of course my apron simply must match my soiree decor and this darling apron is monogrammed!

My wine goblet is usually coordinated with my outfit as well...Matchy Matchy!

I'm ready to receive our guests...

More goodies...

I set up a table of goodies for the children...

Little Debbie Treats are a perfect choice to serve to the youngins at this time of year!

Christmas tree peeps!

Festive paper products...

Each guest left with their choice of a party favor from my "Friendship Gifts."

I always walk around serving our guests hot canapes...from a silver tray with bows!

Chocolates and nuts in the Relaxing Room...{aka the den}

The bar is set for dessert...

Cheetah print Santa and cheetah and palm print paper dessert plates...If you're gonna use paper products, they better be cute!

Cheetah and palm print napkins with a petite tree...

Thanks for stopping by y'all.  I"m in a rush getting ready for a visit from my BF Miss Joy!  Lord have mercy, my house is a mess.

Y'all's Tailgate Wineglass for the 4th

Happy 4th of July!  Have you seen the new Y'all's Products Tailgate Wine Glasses?

Lord have mercy...red solo cups on a stem!  I love it.  Perfect for tailgates!!!  And so very Southern and redneck!

You can even get stickers of your favorite team for your cups.  Must haves y'all!

So tonight, I was sippin' my Merlot from my Red Solo Cup Wineglass!

"HERE'S WHAT I WORE"  Looking a bit campy here...preparing to party!!!

Welcome back to my closet Tommy Hilfiger!  This is my second TH tote and I'm in love with the madras pattern and the logo!  The price was fantastic as well.  I'm looking forward to Tommy Hilfiger's fall line!

Wow, this is kinda a lame outfit y'all...blue grosgrain pony bow, red iPhone cover, Hermes cologne, gold monogrammed earrings, 'Eternity' wedding band by Cartier, and my 'Oyster Perpetual' Rolex.

Topsiders...for a comfy walk!

This will be me tomorrow...in the kitchen all day! Actually, I'm just gonna pour some Corky's BBQ sauce over some pulled pork I bought from Publix and hope for the best.  Y'all know Miss Janice is on her "Clean Living" diet, so it will be the most healthy 4th of July meal I can throw together!  With some strawberry shortcake on the side:)

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoy some time with family and friends on this most patriotic of days!!!

Merlot Hour...Featuring The Pink Monogram!

If you follow me on Twitter, you know I tweet a lot about "Merlot Hour". Well, tonight I'm enjoying a glass of Merlot after a long hard day of doing chores around the house! I'm sippin' Merlot while preparing a late supper for my husband...so I simply must look cute, right?! Of course y'all! "HERE'S WHAT I WORE." Check out this precious preppy monogrammed apron, from The Pink Monogram. It is one of my faves! Solid black, with my monogram in pink. Monica, at The Pink Monogram will customize this apron just for you. It's available in several colors and if you would like, she will even add the darling polka dot ribbon at the bottom to coordinate with the color of your monogram! This is a must-have for any Southern hostess. It would also make a cute addition to your hostess apron collection or would be an appropriate housewarming gift for the Preppy Hostess With the Mostess! I think it looks real cute with my my pink and black ballet flats:) Now, y'all know I'm a bit OCD and everything simply must match. Lately, I guess I've gone a bit overboard, as I've started coordinating my wine goblets with my hostess aprons. Take a look at this doll! Monica sells this ridiculously cute monogrammed preppy wine goblet. It has dots and my monogram to coordinate with my hostess apron. Can you stand this cuteness?! Check out The Pink Monogram! You will surely find the perfect preppy piece that you simply must have. Miss Janice has her brown eyes on these jewels... Monogrammed Loafers--these are available in a wide range of colors and of course, they are monogrammed. On. My. List. These monogrammed Animal Print Shoes are SO me! I simply must have them y'all! What is this, you ask? It's a Monogrammed Shower Curtain! Not just any monogrammed shower curtain either. It is available in white, damask print, polka dots, and a daisy print. The best thing about it is that the monogram is 12 inches by 12 inches! What a statement this curtain would make in my guest bath. Right now I'm using the Ballard Designs white curtain...the one with the lame 'G' initial. Must. Have. This. One. Simply must!!!

You can peek at all the Pink Monogram products online HERE. You can also become a Facebook fan of The Pink Monogram here. Monica is on Twitter and you can follow her to keep posted on the sales she offers. Miss Janice LOVES The Pink Monogram, it's where I got my Pink Monogram clogs.

Thank you for visiting with me today! Hope y'all are having a fabulous Spring...isn't Spring wonderful?

P.S. I'm having major Blogger issues tonight. If a link doesn't work for you, I apologize. And the spacing...this is another issue that began last week. Strange and frustrating! Another P.S. 4.17.11--I tried to edit this post so y'all could get the direct links for the cute loot at The Pink Monogram...still having issues! I am soooo sorry:(
