You can view a blog post I did a couple of years ago, which featured my party, "Tee Time at the Masters" HERE. It's a golf-theme tablescape with recipes, party favors, placecards, Augusta National etiquette, et cetera. I was hoping the defending champion Phil Mickelson was gonna be wearing the coveted Green Jacket again this year, but it doesn't appear that will happen. I was also hoping my fave Freddie Couples {eye candy for the grown-up girls} would make a run for the win...now, I'm just happy that he made the cut! I will close with a very old photo of my friend Teresa Jane and me in front of the Clubhouse at the Augusta National...very early 80's! Happy times...with our Gucci pocketbooks in hand! Who Will Don the Coveted Green Jacket
Today's the final round of the 75th Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, Georgia. As usual, I'll be camped out in front of the television! Yesterday, I finished my garden chores and fixed myself a traditional Masters lunch...pimiento cheese sandwich, potato chips, and an iced cold Miller Lite!
Last night I prepared my traditional Masters Dinner...BBQ chicken, twiced-baked potatoes, The Green Jacket Salad, and french bread. Oh...and an Arnold Palmer! I helped husband with the chicken...wearing my yellow Willliams-Sonoma apron, my Masters visor, AND my weired green Revas!

Charmed, I'm Sure!
It's no secret to my friends that I love classic Lilly Pulitzer clothes. I often go into my closet and look around and try to pick out my favorite shift. I never can choose just one. Palm trees, monkeys, fruits, cocktails, pigs, shrimp, flowers, et cetera...oh, how I love all the cute the designs and the preppy colors! I like the shifts with classic designs...the ones that will still be cute for many years to come. So, if I had to choose just one favorite, it would be the Andrey Dress in Pink...'Charmed I'm Sure.' LOVE this dress! It is perfect for any season...so classic and cheerful! I can wear it to church {with a cardigan, of course--y'all know Miss Janice won't enter the church sanctuary with bare arms}...
Or, I can wear it to teach a children's etiquette program...it's tres cute with a black turtleneck, black tights, and black Revas.
It's just the cutest dress evah! Ashley Brooke, of Ashley Brooke Designs, designed a cute profile pic of me wearing this dress here on my Twitter home page. Ashley also designed these cute correspondence cards...with me and Miss Coco
And, of course, the coordinating calling cards...
Dawn at Lydia and Pugs used the same dress as inspiration for my pic in my blog header...
And again on my blog button!
Now, this past weekend my bff Teresa Jane, who owns her own website design business, TheWebDept, surprised me and changed the background of my blog to include the pattern of 'Charmed I'm Sure.' Merci bien to Teresa Jane! {Teresa Jane also designed my etiquette website...'Miss Janice'. Bless her heart, she hasn't been feeling well lately and wasn't even thinking of herself. She wanted my blog background to match the lime green in the cute fleur de lis rug on the blog header. Merci again, Miss Teresa for this special surprise and for all that you do for moi!

Bonjour y'all! Here's a very easy recipe for French Toast... Take one slice of bread and use the 'Bonjour Toast Press' ...cute, cute, cute with the Eiffel Tower!
Add a spread of 'Confit of Violet Flowers' jelly...This jelly is a fragrant violet flower jelly and is also great to serve on French cheeses.
Voila! Easy peasy French Toast! Perfect to say Bonjour to an overnight guest!!!
My bff Teresa Jane gave me this press awhile back, but I found one online here.
Thank you for stopping by to visit with me today! I have a darlin' giveaway coming up later this week...don't miss it!

Peach Pecan Pepper Preserves
Last night I entertained an out-of-town guest. Well, by 'entertaining' I mean that I cleaned the guest bath & bedroom and served him an appetizer! I had to look cute doing it! I found this cute pink & green hostess apron in a small shop in Mt. Dora, Florida last weekend. It looked darlin' with my pink & green flamingo print capris pants...
I served Chardonnay with a dip of Peach Pecan Pepper Preserves over cream cheese, along with some Graham Cracker cookies.
The Peach Pecan Pepper Preserves are a product from my Taste of Gourmet line and is the Product of the Month. This jelly taste so much better than your granny's plain ole pepper jelly! What a fabulous flavor...the pecans and peaches add texture to the jelly. It's a little bit sweet and little bit hot. It's also great served over browned pork chops... Remember when you purchase the Peach Pecan Pepper Preserves during the month of April, a $1 donation will be generated to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. The Peach Pecan Pepper Preserves have been a long-time customer favorite of the Taste of Gourmet line. I always serve this fab jelly over cream cheese at my etiquette and entertaining seminars! The price is $8.95 for a 10-oz. jar and you can place your order at my Taste of Gourmet site HERE.
Of course, my goblets {monogram decals from 2PreppyGirls}, monogrammed coasters & linen towel {monogrammed by a friend}, and appetizer plate {from Hobby Lobby} just had to coordinate with my outfit:)
Later we dined on the patio at The Town Crier Pub in Tradition...fish & chips--splurge! If you follow me on Twitter, you know I had a fun evening watching the Jersey girls from up North dancing and flippin' their hair all night! Fun night, y'all! "HERE'S WHAT I WORE..." My friend Joy gave me the pink & green flamingo print capris pants--LOVE them! I wore a white blouse and my {closed-toe} pink Lilly mules. My ponytail was adorned with a hot pink grosgrain ribbon and I wore a silver monogrammed choker necklace with the matching monogrammed ring, my 'Return to Tiffany' bracelet, and my rollring wedding band by Cartier. My iPhone cover was lime green {duh} and my fragrance of choice for the evening was 'Burberry.'

Friendship Gifts--April 2011
My "Friendship Gifts" for the month of April are very simple...Jelly Beans! With Easter not arriving until the end of the month, I thought everyone would love to be nibbling jelly beans all month--and, they are fat-free! I found the cute lavender & pink polka dot cello bags at Michaels, filled 'em up with the jelly beans, tied up the bags with lavender and pink gingham ribbon, and attached tags I stamped with a cute little rabbit! Voila...my "Friendship Gifts" are ready to go. I bagged up a lot of these so that I can give them out to guests who visit my home, offer them as a "Hostess Gift," or just give them to someone to brighten their day! "Friendship Gifts" Very easy...very festive!
Thank you so much for visiting with me today. On this first day of April, I'm enjoying the Spring season...still holding back on the white shoes & pants and patent leather shoes until Easter, however!
