Jaycee the Shorkie

It's been almost 4 months since Mll Coco Chanel passed away and I still miss her like crazy!  Husband says that after taking care of 2 dogs for many, many years, we need a break.  Boo hiss on that.  Seriously, he would never leave Pokey--the Jack Russell or Miss Coco in a kennel, so we never traveled together.  Now we are free to scoot.  But I'm just itching to get another puppy, so until husband agrees to get another Yorkie, I live vicariously through Miss Jaycee.  She is a precious Shorkie and belongs to Miss Rachel at A Preppy State of Mind.  Rachel is the cutest thing ever and she's from my hometown in Georgia.  Rachel has the wardrobe of a preppy fashionista and her pup Jaycee is no different...

Here's What Miss Jaycee wore back in the summer...pink and green and bows.  Look at how precious she looks.

Grograins hairbows are de rigueur for Mama Rachel and Miss Jaycee.

Outfits of the Day

The other day I was reading an article online about how people post the same photos on different social media sites...and that's a faux pas.  Oops, that's what I'm doing!  So, if haven't seen my Outfits of the Day yet...on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram {SocialGraces101}, here's a few from the past week.

Ralph Lauren white jeans, Lilly rugby shirt and cardi, Lilly 'Roped In' ballet flats, seersucker monogrammed hairbow, Rolex Chameleon watch, gold cut out monogrammed earrings, 'Eternity' wedding band by Cartier, and a pink skinny belt w/ a gold frog buckle.

Miss Coco was dressed and out and about this week.  We are both wearing 'Millionaire's Row' by Lilly and I'm wearing a denim Molly B jacket, and Lilly pink mules.   I wore my Rolex 'Oyster Perpetual' watch, silver monogrammed necklace, and 'Eternity' wedding band by Cartier.  I also used my 'Millionaire's Row' koozie.

Dressed in black and grey in the summertime...Lord have mercy!  The shorts are Ralph Lauren, the gray ruffled cardi is J Crew as is the flower belt.  My pony scarf and wristlet are by Coach.  The silver pendant, earrings, ring, and bracelet are monogrammed.  I'm wearing my Rolex 'Oyster Perpetual watch, 'Eternity' wedding band by Cartier, and my black Chanel ballet flats.

Back to some happy colors...pink and orange!  I bought this tunic at the Snapple Turtle in Delray Beach and wore it with my white Ralph Lauren capri pants.  The flip flops and the earrings are both Tory Burch.  The daisy pendant is Lilly Pulitzer and I wore an orange headband monogrammed in pink.

That's what I've been wearing lately.  It's finally getting hot as blazes here in South Florida...now I'm just waiting on Fall!

WHERE ARE MY MANNERS?!!!

Please excuse me, as I have failed to properly introduce to y'all my Yorkie, Mlle. Coco Chanel. Miss Coco was born in Palm Springs, California; she has walked the beaches of both the east and west coasts, shopped in Saks, Neimans, and other Coco-friendly stores...she loves an outdoor cafe and just prissin' around! Of course she has a darlin' puppy wardrobe, full of cute and preppy clothes and also has a large collection of designer collars and leashes. This little girl gives sooooo much love and is the sweetest dog ever!!!

The photos below were taken yesterday while she was trying to decide what to wear to go on a picnic with her mama...she said this little dress was just too prissy for the day.

Now y'all know Miss Janice isn't gonna eat out of a brown paper bag and that my wine goblet must be monogrammed!

Yum yum...chilled fruit and cheese and fresh french bread...

I would never forget my little Coco's food & water...of course she has her own napkins!

What a wonderful day!!! Relaxing on the quilt with some of the latest Hollywood magazines and Miss Coco! I'll leave y'all with a photo of Coco Chanel modeling her winter coat...she and I have the matching little jackets:)
