B The Collection

If you haven't heard of this beautiful lady by now, I would like to introduce to y'all Brooke Schultz.  She is a Sales Executive turned Fashion Designer and owns B The Collection.   The collection has THE cutest shift dresses, skirts, tunics, slacks, sweaters, jackets, and jewelry.

I first discovered B The Collection through an Instagram friend Teggy French.  Teggy is so beautiful in a Grace Kelly way and wears a lot of B The Collection.  Take a look Teggy...doesn't she look fabulous in this preppy tunic?!  And here she is wearing another piece from the collection that is still on my wish list!

"Here's What I'm Wearing Today"...the B The Collection "Animal House" shift, with the "Animal House" cardigan, and the adorable bee bold bauble necklace.  I'm wearing my black Chanel cap toe flats (not shown) and carrying my black Chanel pocketbook.  I love the shift monogrammed in hot pink {thanks to Brooke} and paired with the cute cardigan.  Perfect for an autumn day!

My Outfit of the Day:

I adore this pattern!

The cardigan comes with a shell that was also monogrammed by Brooke.  I look forward to wearing this twinset during the coming months with skirts and jeans.

The little buttons on the cardigan have the bee logo!

Check out B The Collection's website {sale going on} and Facebook page and see more of the cute preppy fashions.  Along with darling clothes, Brooke also offers excellent customer service!

James Farmer, Southern Gentleman

Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending a luncheon in Perry, Georgia featuring James Farmer as the Speaker.  James is a professional gardener, floral and interior designer, cook, and lifestyle expert.  He is the author of several books which I have written about on this blog.  He is also an editor-at-large for Southern Living Magazine.

James kept all the ladies laughing out loud and nodding their heads in agreement with all his Southern stories...memories of times growing up in the South...reminding us all of times with our mamas, sisters, and Southern lady friends!

The dining room of the Houston Lake Country Club was decorated with a garden theme...

Mimosas and Bloody Marys were served...

Each table featured a garden-style centerpiece...

As expected, the food was delicious!

Since I already have all of James' books, I pre-ordered his new book "A Time to Celebrate."  It will be out in September and will feature recipes, entertaining, and Southern stories.  James can set a pretty table y'all!

I wore my Lilly Pulitzer 'Ten Ton Bouquet' shift with orange Revas, a bee-charmed Bosom Buddy Bag, and a darling pearl necklace with a bee charm, by B The Collection.
