CHECK YOUR BONANNOS Y'ALL!!!

Lord have mercy! Y'all need to check your Bonannos...'cuz they just might be knock-offs!!! On the Stephen Bonanno blog site, Vivian Benvenuto (I apologize to Vivian, as I previously posted her last name as "Bonanno"--*gasping with embarassment here*) wrote about several stores selling these knock-offs...Read about it here.

Goodness gracious, I purchased these pink and green Bonannos several years ago--I believe from ThePinkMonogram. I just know they are real!!!
I called in the order for these white Bonannos to the Stuart store early last summer and picked them up and paid Vivian herself for these...they better be real! :)
Hop over to the Bonanno blog to check out the story for yourself...if you have questions, Vivian's contact information is included in the post.

This morning I went to church and then The Cracker Barrel for lunch. "HERE'S WHAT I WORE" The 'Spring Fling' pattern shift is by Lilly and the 'Marilyn' cardigan is also by Lilly.
My white Bonannos look very cute with this shift, but y'all know by now that Miss Janice doesn't wear sandals into the sanctuary of the church. So, I wore my 'Magenta Revas' by Tory Burch and carried my Queen Bea straw pocketbook adorned with a magenta Midori-ish ribbon. I wore my pearl stud earrings by Ralph Lauren, my pearl bracelet, and my rollring wedding band by Cartier. My ponytail was adorned with a white grosgrain ribbon, my lipstick was 'Laser Pink' by Chanel, and my fragrance of choice was 'Wink' by Lilly.
My cell phone was in the 'manners mode' during church service, but it still look cute in this hot pink cover...

Thank you for visiting with me today. I'll be back on Monday or Tuesday with photos of a Lilly-fied tablescape...from a 'summer soire on my front porch'!

Oh my goodness Miss J, you must tell us how you keep your Bonannos (or Jacks) so pristine!!!

"Manners mode"-love it!
I confess to having had my phone ring once in church-I never bring a phone or purse to church, but one day had both by mistake. Very mortifying!

Yeah, seems a couple of people have reposted this story. I went through my 15 pairs, and am thankful they are all authentic -- Jack Rogers and Stephen Bonanno's. One their website you can see places that sell authentic Bonannos. Although up here in the North, we see more Jack Rogers which is why I have a combo. Waiting for my 16th pair to arrive from Stephen Bonanno! Hope you had a fabulous weekend!

Well, Miss Janice, you and I definitely shop in some of the same places--love The Pink Monogram as well as the Pink Azalea, two hometown stores of which I'm very proud. Monica, originator of The Pink Monogram, lives around the corner from me. I am sure that the Bonannos she sells are the real deals! Happy Sunday!

I've been reading your blog for a while and I just wanted to drop a note saying thank you! I enjoy reading your etiquette pointers. I'm always looking for good books on manners and polite living and I enjoy the "real person" giving us a peak into her life.

Cute pink cell phone cover. I hope you had a lovely Sunday afternoon. I'm a huge Cracker Barrel fan. When my husband and I travel I have to map them out. I love the biscuits and gravy. And I love to shop at the country store afterwards. Terrible to hear about the Bonanno being knock-offs. I hope your white pair are the real thing.

We had a great Sunday at church too. We visit Cracker Barrel every Saturday morning to have breakfast with my dad & stepmom. My daughters love the tradition of breakfast with "Nanny & Papa" each Saturday.

Hope you had a great worship and a great meal!

Vivian had told me something was going on a few days ago, and I posted it on facebook, but later removed it because people thought it was odd. And then when I read her article, I freaked out and ran and checked all my Bonannos! But like you, the last pair I bought, the monogram ones I paid Vivian directly in the stuart store, so I wasn't worried! I'm sad that they've moved their shop to West Palm though, I always enjoyed going in there and chatting. But happy they are doing okay!
