ETIQUETTE TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR THE FALL

Etiquette with Miss Janice's Fall 2009 etiquette programs are now being scheduled. First up...Modern Manners for Children--ages 4-7.

Modern Manners for Children is an activity-oriented approach to teaching etiquette to children ages 4-7. The program is designed to foster children's growth through effective age-appropriate and play-nourished exercises. Early etiquette awareness offers many advantages to preparing children for their teen and adult years. Family involvement is encouraged through take-home handouts that reinforce and develop positive attitudes toward learning and applying good manners.

The Art of Introductions...oh-so important!
The importance of sharing and getting along with others...

Dining Etiquette...hands-on training! (Notice the little girls on the front row--legs are crossed at the ankles...yes ma'am!)
Yes little Miss, there is a proper way to eat bread...
Encouraging t-e-a-m-w-o-r-k!

The post title caught my eye. I remember attending etiquette classes as a child, learning how to meet and greet and of course, eat! Wonderful.

I've visited your blog so many times over the last few months and have had no idea that you lived in the vicinity of where my mother-in-law resides--Hutchinson Island. It's a lovely area and how lucky the residents are to have you and your classes!

Get them young. I think many adults I run into need a remedial course or two. :) Bless you, Miss Janice!

Love seeing all the cute little girls :).
All 3 of my boys took etiquette classes at our country club as well as participating in the Jr. Cotillion (Griff starts this fall). Not a big hit with any of them, but important to me! ;)

I wish they had some of these classes around here. It looks like fun! I had to teach myself all things etiquette while growing up. and the kids in my neighbourhood could really do with lessons in manners :)

I am sure those little ones will benefit from their classes, especially with a wonderful person like you as their teacher. Have fun!

Hi Miss Janice! I LOVE this! What a service you are doing, for good manners are losing ground rapidly, I am sad to say! We have taught my grandson to say Yes Ma'am, etc. and open doors for ladies like a good Southern gentleman. I honestly feel that just plain old good manners would solve a lot of the world's ills! I hope you are having a happy Labor Day!...hugs...Debbie
