Autumn is a wonderful time of the year to reconnect with family and friends and to begin planning all of your holiday events and decorations. Small events are my specialty. I love to entertain and create themed events--from potluck to formal dinners. Entertaining does not mean that you have to host a lavish formal dinner party. I'm sure that you have thought about entertaining friends, only to stress out that your house isn't decorated right, not clean enough, or you are not a Martha Stewart-type person. Well, you probably have more entertaining experience than you think--from birthday parties to casual cookouts--it's all about the social skills.
Whether your holiday entertaining plans include a soup and salad supper, a festive cookie exchange, or a formal dinner on Christmas Day, with a little savvy planning and incorporating your personal style, you will be able to host a memorable event.
Please join me...I will be talking about the steps you can take to avoid being stressed on the big day!

I love entertaining! The planning, the chit-chat, the decor, it's all those things that make it special. I use my "good china" during the week as well, I don't know anyone more deserving of the royal treatment than my husband and son :)
Welcome to blogging!

Hi Janice...I'm honored that you added me to your blog roll...I just did the same with your blog! :-) I can tell right now I'm going to love visiting your blog. I read your likes and dislikes and they are dead on with mine. Can't wait to learn everything you have to teach...I'm totally facinated with dining etiquette. :-) Susan

Hi Miss Janice! I see that you are blessed to be a Southern Lady. I too am blessed that way, hehe. I also see that we have alot in common. Thank you for stopping by. Take Care~
Good evening Ms. Janice! Welcome to blogland....I began my wonderful journey almost a year ago and felt like I'd never be a pro like some of the blogs I was following. However, with a lot of helpful other bloggers, plus some really frustrating hours at my computer, I feel I have mastered the basics. Still lots to learn.
I've also "met" some really wonderful people...even had the pleasure of meeting several girls in person that live close by.
I'd love for my little Taylor to be able to take some etiquette classes locally. I think there might be someone who does this here in Montgomery but not sure. Her mom (my daughter) is instilling manners in the twins but the type of lessons you teach would be invaluable.
Thanks for visiting my blog and I look forward to keeping up with yours!
Judy
