Casual Christmas Supper

Hey Y'all! I thought y'all would like to see some photos from a very casual Christmas Supper I hosted the other night. Of course I was wearing a festive apron that I bought in a cute little shop in Perry, Georgia...Carlton Interiors. If you are ever in the quaint little town of Perry, stop into visit Joyce--she has a great store with cute loot for the Southern girl and her home!
Since every tabletop in my house is covered with Christmas decorations, I didn't have much choice but to serve the supper buffet-style with a "Countertop Spread!" I prettied-up the countertop a bit and placed the casserole dishes of hot food on the stovetop. I told y'all it was casual!!!
Festive glassware...with a leaning candle {I have no idea why}
Festive flatware...
My "Signature Beverage" served from the punch bowl...Pomegranate Punch. This is a very easy beverage to mix...Pomegranate juice, champagne, sliced oranges, pomegranate seeds, and ice!
Mama always says "You can't go wrong serving a Honeybaked Ham!"

Keeping with my "Santa in France" theme...Pere Noel is serving 'Paris' tea {a sachet tea from Harney Tea}. I love tea sachets...they are not as pure as loose tea, but more so than teabags, with the same convenience of teabags! This tea is a fruity black tea with a hint of lemony bergamot.
{Husband probably would say bunny needs to be moved!"}
Pere Noel in France!

My inspiration and one of my favorite books about tea..."French Tea, The Pleasures of the Table," by Carole Manchester.

The dining table is set for coffee and dessert...'Chocolate Peppermint Coffee', from The Fresh Market and a Yule Log for dessert!
I replaced the Autumn florals with these wall pedastal racks {these are also from Carlton Interiors}..Husband says the bunny plates need to come down. I say no; the bunny toile plates stay--the everything has to match side of me says that:)
I decorated the chandelier with MORE toile...the ornament pattern is toile and so is the ribbon pattern!

Looking into the dining area from the kitchen...

Ballard Designs' burlap ribbon is holding the wreaths--just to add some color onto those blinds!
Pere Noel and the Yule Log...
An age-old Christmas tradition, the Yule Log was said to bring good luck for the year to come. What once was a freshly cut log chosen to fuel the holiday fire has now become a delicious chocolate cake enjoyed with family and friends. This delicious rich chocolate cake has a buttercream filling and is a decorated by hand...by the nice people at The Fresh Market:) A cute little tabletop tree...with vintage ornaments I found on Etsy!
I simply had to have these rooster tags!
Pere Noel!

Fleur de lis...

The Eiffel Tower!

Thank you so much for visiting with me today! I will be back probably Friday or Saturday with photos of some Christmas decorations in our TV room! Hope y'all are enjoying the Christmas season!

Please keep Christ in Christmas!!!

Love your gold Christmas flatware!! Also, your 'tea' book looks darling... my mom had a book called "Taking Tea" and when I was a child I loved looking through it and seeing all the pretty afternoon tea settings!

Bless your heart Miss Janice, where in the world do you keep all of these wonderful things? You constantly have something lovely and interesting to decorate with, where do you keep it all?

Every family dinner we ever had when I was growing up was a countertop spread. Everything looks delicious and beautiful as usual.
