We have lost another close friend. Yesterday our friend Jan Taylor passed away in Tampa, Florida after a two year battle with cancer. Jan and I met 28 years ago through our husbands who were friends from their high school days in Clearwater. Jan handled her illness with quiet dignity, the same way that she lived her life. Our hearts go out to Jan's husband Mark, their son Kevin, Jan's family, and friends. Thanks to all of you who prayed for Jan. Bless her heart, may she rest in peace.

I am so sorry. I recall walking a lap for her at our local Relay for Life, exactly 52 weeks ago this weekend.

No words. I just have no words and I have found at times like these it is better for me to not even try because everything comes out sounding so cliche. Just know that I have grown to love you through the years and feel like I really know - I wish I was there to hug you and bring all kinds of food like we do when a loved one dies...
