Tybee Joy’s Beach House, Part 2

Today I am sharing photos of the “other side” of my friend Joy’s duplex.  As I said in my previous post, she completely redid the interior and turned it into a beach-chic home.  It’s a true fixer-upper, coastal style—full of turquoise, lime green, and coral colors.
I love the lime green sofa in the other side of the duplex, but be still my heart with this adorable turquoise sofa from Four Seasons.   Check out the precious Isaac Mizrahi tasseled flamingo pillow—a Homegoods find.  I want it!  The awesome art is by Bellamy and is the perfect choice for Joy’s decor.  The cabinet is from Ballard Designs.  Joy loves to shop Homegoods and TJ Maxx for lamps, pillows, side tables, vases, and other decorative pieces.

This Ballard Designs cabinet is perfect to store and display Joys’s turquoise and lime green dishes.

Another tasseled flamingo pillow.

Turquoise shuttered laundry room doors and another Bellamy print.

Eek, I’m obsessed with her oyster chandelier from Joss & Main.

Ikea kitchen cabinets and vinyl plank distressed, barn wood flooring.

The coffee station cabinet is from Ballard Designs.

More turquoise and lime green in the bedroom.  Joy installed shiplap throughout the cottage.

All the bedroom mirrors are from Ballard Designs.

Turquoise barn doors to the bathroom.  This is definitely “Fixer-Upper” coastal style.

The bathroom vanity is from Home Depot.

Of course Joy has a crystal chandelier and turquoise ruffles in the bathroom.  Prissy and colorful.

And now...the “Before Photos” of this side of the duplex.

Progressing to a new coastal look...

I hope y’all have enjoyed this tour!

Tybee Joy’s Beach House

My friend Joy recently purchased a duplex home on Tybee Island and completely redid the interior.  The “before” photos are at the end of this post—you cannot miss them!
Joy definitely loves living a colorful life which shows in her fashion and home decor.  Her cute house just makes me want to throw all my stuff out onto the curb and start over at the beach.
I’m totally in love with the green sofa and the darling flamingo on the coffee table

She better keep her eye on that cute little pink flamingo

Love the shells and starfish inside the colorful lantern

Oyster shells—I might do this for sure.

Love the chaise and the turquoise curtains—all the colors work together to deliver a coastal vibe.

Beach chic dining.

Only my friend Joy would have a turquoise barn door to her bathroom!  How cute is that?!

Joy loves her ruffles and I love them too...very colorful and prissy shower curtain!  The bath vanity is from Ikea.

She had all the kitchen cabinetry removed and installed Ikea cabinets.

You can see by the colors in the two bedrooms, Joy loves aqua and turquoise.

And now, the “Before” photos...

I hope you have enjoyed this tour of my friend’s home.  I will be back again later with more colorful photos from the other side of the duplex.  Thanks for visiting with me today.

Christmas Decor

Since I spent the last month in Georgia, I'm really behind on decorating for Christmas.  This year, I believe I'll keep it low-key, since I'm not really sure what I'll be doing.

Remember the turquoise tree on the front porch that had orange pumpkins for Halloween?  Well now it's a coastal Christmas tree...with starfish, pink flamingos, and other coastal ornaments I've collected.

I've managed to twinkle up the bedroom with a couple of sparkly champagne-colored tabletop trees...Paris-themed.

They are both loaded with Eiffel tower and fleur de lis ornaments.

Joyeux Noel!

Paris-inspired gift wrapping, of course!

I placed a white feather tree on top of my vanity table and it's my "Shopaholic Girl" tree!

The ornaments are shopping girls and their bags from Saks, Neiman Marcus, Bonwit Teller, Bloomingdale's, and Gucci.

I hope y'all are enjoying the Christmas season!
