A romantic dinner, champagne, chocolate, sweet Valentine cards, and roses are all traditions on Valentine's Day.
Here's the sweets I packaged up to give as my February "Friendship Gifts."
The side bar in my kitchen...gifts and a Valentine Tree.
The little Valentine Tree closeup...
Cute little vintage Valentine cards I made...
Across the room, my hutch has a little Valentine embellishment...
My red rooster dishes, from the "Country Living" line, available at Kmart...
My "Valentine Banner," BE MINE! {Y,all, I got this cute little banner from Stacy at Crafty Sweethearts on Etsy. I have tried to link up to her site there and now I cannot find it. If you are interested in one of her banners, e-mail me and I will get her e-mail address to you}.
Red hearts in the apothecary jar...
Red toile bowls...love these, from the "Country Living" line at Kmart!
Valentine's Day is not just those couples who are in love; it's for family and friends also. The day can be a thorn in the side of those people who are not involved in a relationship, so try to remember those who might otherwise feel left out.

Thank you for stopping by and don't forget to stop in to visit with Laurie and see the Valentine goodies from other bloggers!

Oh what wonderful "love" you're serving up from your kitchen! So sweet.
Everything is so pretty. Looks like your home is very festive. Rosie
Hi Miss Janice! Oh, I love seeing your pretty home all decked out in hearts and love. Your hutch is so sweet and I love how you've decorated it! That little Valentine tree.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I wish I lived close enough to you to be a recipient of your seasonal gifts for your friends. You have the cutest gift ideas! I love those vintage cards you made for your feather tree. (I also love your feather tree-I've looked all over for one, but can't find one that is reasonable enough for me to break down and buy it). Your "love" banner in your header is so pretty, and so is your "Be Mine" banner. Those red toile bowls are so pretty. Our K Mart closed, so I'm going to have to go out of town to find some, but I really NEED some of those!! (You know I need more china). I'm so glad you joined the party. It's great to have you back in Blogville! laurie

I keep saying I'm going to make one of those banners with all my excess papers!lol I must get those plates and bowls (as soon as I can get back on the roads; this snow is really putting a cramp in my shopping!!) As usual a pretty post! Have a great weekend - Sincerely, Jeannette
What lovely Valentines Day touches! I'm going to "borrow" your idea for a Valentines day tree. That is, if I can find a white tabletop tree this time of year!
