Miss Janice,
I enjoy your blog and will continue to read it, but I'm very disappointed to see that it has turned into an advertising site.
I think it's very unladylike to continually brag about the fine things that you have when so much of our nation is unemployed. I don't think your Mama would approve either.
Wishing you the best, always,
Ruth Ann
RaggBaggs: A lot of blogs have advertising. If one can make a little bit of money off of their blogs, let them.
As for Miss Janice bragging about her stuff, I don't think she brags. A lot of her readers, including Moi, enjoy seeing her stuff. If she wants to have fine things, let her. She is contributing to the economy.
My Mama taught me that it was worse manners to point out someone else's bad manners.
I have to disagree! Miss Janice is simply showing us all how to pull it together! I love how she always dresses like a lady even if running to the gym or market! If you really read her descriptions, you will see items repeated because she obviously has a talent for that!
Also, these advertisers are wonderful for busy mothers like me! After seeing all the wonderful hostess gifts and other crafts Miss Janice does, it's wonderful to have the work done for me in finding the supplies!
While we are all aware of the bad economy, it is not in bad taste to share tips and good cheer as our Miss Janice does for all of us.

Miss Janice~
I adore every little thing about your blog and don't consider you a "bragger," at all. My Mama taught me, "If you don't have something nice to say...don't say anything at all." I stand by my Mama's words!
Happy Holidays,
Mrs. Kindergarten

I for one, do not find your blog an advertising site. If you have worked hard to obtain what you have, why not display it. As for explaining when and where to purchase it, surely that is in your generous nature to share amongst others so they can enjoy it as well. It would be extremely mean-spirited to tell all about it, but not allow the source to be discovered.
Ragg Baggs, I personally think there is a bit of pea green going on with yourself. Virtually every blog today, has advertising on it, wether in sponsorship or to promote a brand. Whats wrong with that. If you are so against the advertising, why are you saying you are going to continue to read it.

Oh dear! I do enjoy your blog Miss Janice....Love your pretties and posts on manners....what you wear. I love doing tablescapes and have heard the same comment about "showing off".....honestly, I enjoy all the inspiration I get from so many bloggers.....so keep sharing your talents....for those of us who appreciate them.
