Looking Cute While Working Out

Southern girls must look cute when they are working out!  When I run in 5k races I always try to wear something cute and coordinate my outfit just like I do any other day.  I admit...sometimes I look a little tacky at the gym...just being honest y'all!

I love monogrammed Norts.  Lucky for me, there aren't too many girls wearing these around Port St. Lucie, Florida...at least not yet!  You can find these at Classic Prep Monograms or buy your own Nike shorts and have them monogrammed.

Love these monogrammed tees from The Southern Monogram.  They are available in short sleeve and long sleeve lengths.

You can choose from a variety of fabrics for the pocket, OR you order one like mine...with a Lilly Pulitzer fabric pocket...monogrammed!  Precious y'all!!!

Yes ma'am!  A monogrammed sports bra!  A must-have for the Southern girl who likes to stay fit.  You can find these at The Southern Monogram.

Keeping it preppy...I love these running shoes from Nike!   Pink and green and stinkin' cute!

I always wear Ralph Lauren socks to work out and run...of course I have them in every color!  I saw the multi-colored packs at Dillard's recently...maybe 6 to the pack...lots of cute colors!

For the chilly days...a monogrammed sweatshirt!  LOVE these!  These are also available from The Southern Monogram and they have lots of colors!

Prefer a hoodie...monogrammed?  These are available at Premier Impressions and they have a wide choice of colors.  Love 'em!

Premier Impressions also carries these cute monogrammed caps.  Y'all know how I love my monogrammed pony caps!  They have these caps available in lots of colors!

Could you make your outfit a little more Southern?  Yes ma'am, just add a monogrammed grosgrain ribbon pony bow.

I hope y'all have been inspired by the Olympic games.  Ready.  Set.  Just do it!

On Wednesdays We Wear Pink

Today I'm wearing my Lilly shift in the 'Soleil' pattern...it's cool and comfortable for this hot and humid August day.

My ponytail is adorned with a white grosgrain bow.

And I"m wearing my pink and green Jack Rogers.

With my pearls and Chanel sunglasses...

Miss Coco wears pink on Wednesdays as well.  She's wearing a custom made Lilly 'Soleil' collar and leash to match her Mama's oufit.

So very fetch!

Coordinating my Gift Wrap with my Outfit!

Yes, I'm matchy matchy all the time...I even match my gift wrap to my outfit!  Today I'm wearing a Lilly Pulitzer skirt in one of my favorite patterns...'Taboo'.
I adorned the package with pink gibbon ribbon and the the monogrammed gift tag {available from Melissa Caligiuri}.

My gift wrapping center is full of preppy wrap and I have much more behind the office closet doors...toiles, cheetah print, polka dots, et cetera.  Presentation is everything and I love to make my gifts look cute and match/coordinate with my outfit!

Melissa Caligiuri makes the cutest gift tags and her gifts are always so precious!

I adore this gift wrap presentation she did during Christmas!

Lifeguard Press has some Lilly Pulitzer gift wrap in several patterns...a must have to coordinate with your Lilly outfits and accessories!

"Here's What I Wore" today...The skirt is Lilly in the 'Taboo' pattern, paired with a pink Lilly tee, and a J Crew cardi.

Bosom Buddy Bag...with a pink bow and a gator!

Gold cutout monogrammed necklace and earrings.  I've had this set for over 15 years and it's still one of my favorites!

'Pink Orchid' Tory Burch Revas.

Thank you for visiting with me today!  Remember, it's better to give than to receive...make it special!

Southern Charm's Devotion Journaling

For those of you who enjoy devotional time, I would like to introduce you to Jennifer at Her Southern Charm.  I have followed Jennifer's blog for a long time and follow her on Twitter as well.  Recently, I started following her on Instagram {HerSouthernCharm}.  She features the most awesome photos of her devotion journaling, with the best "doodling" ever!

"Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed!"

Journaling is something Jennifer has always done.  She loves creative writing and "doodling"...well, she calls it "doodling" but I call it art!  Jennifer likes to start with Jenni Beck Journals.

Here favorite writing pens are Papermate Liquid Expresso Pens {medium point}. She also likes Papermate Felt Tip Pens.

~PRAYER JOURNAL~
Jennifer and her husband always pray together before bedtime.  Recently, they noticed that they just kept praying for the same things/people all the time.  This is also a habit I have...it's like I have a standard list.  They decided to make a monthly list of things they will pray for so they'll have something different each night.  She designed the blank calendars on Word and then set out to make their prayer list...complete with her "doodles."

~DEVOTION JOURNAL~
Jennifer's journals record her thoughts and spiritual insight...complete with her "doodling!"  Here are a few of my favorites.

"Let go."  What do you need to let go of so you can have room in your heart for mercy and compassion?

"His mercies are new every morning!  How lucky we are."

"Walk right and live in obedience.  A prayer for those that feel like outcasts.  If God says you belong, then you belong!"

"Persistence in prayer:  Ask, Search, and Knock and be persistent!"

My favorite..."I will...be up by 8 am, dressed by 10 am, and cheerfully wear an apron!  The thing is, if I don't choose to find the time to get dressed, and ready for the day, I waste so many opportunities the day has offer."
~Sarah Mae

Now I have a cute Lilly Pulitzer journal and my own devotion book to follow.  So I headed over to Office Depot for some cute pens.  Well, it turns out that I'm just NOT the cute doodler Miss Jennifer is.  So, I'll continue with my devotions but also plan to follow Jennifer's inspiring entries!

What's on your Cork Board?

I love my Ballard Designs cork board.  It's the Acanthus Board and the frame has an antique gold finish.

I use my board as a memory board, inspiration board, and style board.  It changes all the time.  When I'm trying to decide on a fabric choice, I just stick the swatches up and look at 'em every day.   Photos of family and friends go up, come down, and sometimes go back up...depending on my mood!  Happy stuff...that's what I want to look at every single day!

Of course, I can't use tacky thumb tacks on this fabulous board...I just had to get the 'Eiffel Tower' and the 'Fleur de Lis' tres chic style tacks, also in an antique gold finish.

Mlle. Coco Chanel always makes me smile!

Birdcage designs {inspiration}...friends {memories}...

and cute loot!

Do you have a cork board?  What's on your board?
