BUNNY LOVE ON EASTER SUNDAY

Do you find yourself preparing the same menu for certain occasions? On Easter Sunday, my family wants the same stuff year after year! That's okay 'cuz I like my traditional menu also:)

Today I'm joining the fabulous hostess Miss Marty over at AStrollThruLife for Tabletop Tuesday. My 'Bunny Trail to Easter' is coming to the end:(. Here's my Easter tablescape...the same as last year and the year before. I just love this china pattern 'cuz it goes so well with my 'Pastoral Sage'-covered dining chairs from Ethan Allen.

Bon Appetit! Here's my Easter Sunday menu, containing a lot of my family favs...

Monsieur Rabbit says, "It's Time Y'all!"

A little springtime embellishment to the table...

Little Majolica lovebirds...

These green moss charger plates are from a fabulous store in Collierville, Tennessee--The First Fruit Collection. Actually, I believe the 'Bunny Toile' plates, by J. Wilfred are also from the same store. Love these. Just love them!

This pattern could not be any cuter and is just perfect for Miss Janice!

Pink napkins with a springtime ribbon as napkin rings...placed in the proper position for an Informal Lunch...
Coordinating 'Bunny Toile' covered candy dishes with Jelly Belly beans...

Iced cold pink lemonade or hot tea with jelly beans and macaroons??? Absolutely!
Pink lemonade just says "Springtime is here!"

Hot tea, is being served from this darling majolica teapot with a cute little bunny-motif. I found this precious teapot at HomeGoods.

Pink lemonade and hot tea...Mama gave me the green goblets and the majolica mugs are from one of my all-time favorite stores--First Fruit Collection, on the square in Collierville, Tennessee.

This cute ceramic bunny is from HomeGoods and is sitting on top of a majolica bunny platter, also from Homegoods...Macaroons and Peeps being served y'all!

This little bunny's carrot tail is holding jelly beans...he's also from HomeGoods.

Love the majolica bunny and carrot motif dessert plates...from HomeGoods, of course!

Y'all know I had to use some green gingham napkins!

Embellishing the buffet lamps with these awesome sage green harlequin tassels...

ROAD TRIP Y'ALL!

ROAD TRIP Y'ALL! I'm off to the quaint little town of Mount Dora, Florida, near Orlando. It's time for the annual Mount Dora Spring Collectibles and Crafts Show...where the streets of Mount Dora come alive with hundreds of artists showcasing crafts and antique collections.
I just love small towns y'all. I'll be staying in a very cute and quaint Bed & Breakfast and I'm looking forward to having breakfast at the Inn each morning before hitting the streets to "Shop Till I DROP!"

I've heard so many good things about this Mayberry-ish small town!

I'll try to have dinner at "The Goblin Market," 'cuz it's been highly recommended.

I'm looking forward to worshiping at Saint Edward's Episcopal Church...

A must-do for Miss Janice...tea at the Windsor Rose Tearoom!
The BMW is ready and I've got my Lilly thermo ready to fill...
My bags are packed, in style of course...My carryall is the 'Elizabeth' pattern, by Vera Bradley {Miss Janice's monogram in blue} I like to laminate my business cards and tie them onto my bags with a cute ribbon bow...just in case! The matching garment bag by Vera Bradley...with my monogram.
Love this tote by Land's End to hold my laptop and other much needed crack gadgets...y'all must have known it would be monogrammed also!
I'm only going to be gone for a few days and I'm packing light and mixing & matching! "Here's What I'm Wearing."

For the drive, I'll wear these khaki capris, by Ralph Lauren. The polo shirt is also by Ralph Lauren, and the denim jacket is by Gap. How cute is this little flower pin? These are Lilly-fied pins ...love these! You can find them at etsy.com/shop/lwhelan . I LOVE this Lilly-fied pin!

My shoes are pink mules, by Lilly and my pocketbook is the Lilly Bermuda Bag with the 'Shrimp Cocktail' bag cover...adore this pattern! I'll wear this green cap, which is monogrammed in hot pink and a hot pink grosgrain ribbon on my ponytail. I'll also wear my silver monogrammed choker with the matching earrings and ring, along with my 'Oyster Perpetual' watch by Rolex and my rollring wedding band by Cartier. My fragrance of choice will be 'Wink' by Lilly.

These coveralls, by Lilly, are the 'Chilean Avenue' pattern. These will be perfect for strolling the shops of Mount Dora and checking out the craft vendors! The blouse is a pink oxford, from Ralph Lauren.
Love the pattern of this material...pink & green and oh-so Lilly!

I will wear these pink mules by Lilly and this green cap, also by Lilly. My pocketbook is the Lilly Bermuda Bag with a pink cover, monogrammed in white. The jewelry & fragrance is the same as mentioned in the outfit above. My ponytail will be adorned with a light pink grosgrain ribbon.

For Church and Afternoon Tea, I will wear this cute Lilly shift in the 'Diamond Head Patch Pattern.' I'll also wear this 'Marilyn' cardigan sweater, also by Lilly.Again, pink & green and oh-so Lilly! And, I might add...oh-so Miss Janice!
Love the detail on the pockets!

My shoes...love these 'magenta' revas, by Tory Burch--perfect for this Lilly shift and great to wear all year long. The salesman at Neiman's said it was the last pair in the South Florida area!!! Well then, that justifies the cost, don't y'all think? I tried and tried to find the perfect 'magenta' pocketbook, but could not. Y'all know that I would go out WITHOUT a pocketbook before I'd ever carry one that did not match my shoes!!! So, I got a Midori-ish ribbon in a magenta color and added it to my little basket-style pocketbook. I think it will be just fine to carry to Church in a resort town in Florida:) I'll wear my pearl choker and pearl stud earrings by Ralph Lauren, my Cartier rollring wedding band, and to secure my ponytail, I'll wear a gold hair barrette, by Chanel. My fragrance of choice for the day...'Wink', by Lilly.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Now, I'm off to Mount Dora!

BUNNY LOVE ON THE KITCHEN SIDEBOARD

When I started planning an Easter-scape for my kitchen sideboard, I knew I didn't want to use the traditional pastel Easter colors. I wanted to to use black! Are you gasping??? I pulled some of my black bunnies from other spots and went from there...

There are so many symbols of Easter and Springtime that we use today. Rabbits, eggs, and chicks are the symbols I chose. The rabbit is a symbol of Spring and fertility; the egg is said to be a symbol of new life and fertility and also a symbol of Jesus emerging from the rock-covered tomb; and the chick...represents new life or rebirth. Okay, so then there's the 'Coconut Cupcake'! Well, if there are coconut cupcakes at my house, it must be Easter!!!
I went to my extravagant baking center at "The Roost" {with my cute little rolling pin and Paula Deen measuring spoons} and tried to come up with a fancy Easter dessert...

Tradition is such a big part of my life...especially when I entertain! So, the house-fav Barefoot Contessa's Coconut Cupcake won out once again!

Here's a bunny rabbit surrounded by my fav cupcake, embellished with Martha Stewart's Easter picks...oh so cute!

Eggs, baby chicks, and daffodils...all symbols of the Easter season.

Good Lord, this bunny looks scary! He might be one of my Halloween bunnies....Lord Have Mercy, I promise y'all he looks cuter in person:)

Baby chicks...they just melt my heart!

The coconut cupcakes are wonderful...they are filled with coconut and topped with scrumpcious coconut icing!

Tuplips...one of my very favorite flowers!

This little rabbit is caged...po 'ole thing!

Thank you so much for visiting with me today.

Don't forget to hop over and visit Marty, the fabulous hostess for Tabletop Tuesday. Her site will be full of gorgeous tabletops from blogland! Thank you for hosting this fun event Miss Marty:)

I'M PRETTYING-UP THE KITCHEN SINK!

I spend a LOT OF TIME at the kitchen sink...don't we all? Everything in my cottage is builder-grade tacky. I'm trying to replace the parts I don't like and make it all my own. Take a look at the boring sink area...

Now...much better!

Love my new Price Pfister 'Tuscan Bronze' faucet, which goes well with the cabinet knobs and other stuff in my kitchen.

From Williams-Sonoma...'Lemongrass Ginger' dish soap, hand soap, and hand lotion. Love this scent y'all!

A rooster-motif scouring pad holder, from HomeGoods.

An iron dish drainer, also from HomeGoods.

LOVE my cute little rooster-motif sink strainer...de rigueur for "The Roost!"

Y'all know my dish towel would surely have a rooster somewhere...Surprise...the floor mat {from Walmart...THAT'S RIGHT, I SAID WALMART} is rooster themed also!

Thank you for visiting with me today!
