Moziah Bridges, Kidpreneur

Growing up, I thought I was a Kidpreneur.  I would go around the neighborhood painting mailbox flags red for 25 cents...then go back to repaint them when they faded.

Well, I would like to introduce to y'all a genuine Kidpreneur...a dapper little boy named Moziah.  He lives in Memphis, Tennessee and is the owner of Mo's Bows Memphis.  Two years ago at the age of 9, he started his own company selling his handmade bow ties.

Precious.  He is just precious!  I love that he loves to dress up and look sharp.

Here is Mo at 4 years of age...already a smart little dresser!

Mo says on his website "You will always find me looking good whether I'm going somewhere or not."  Lord have mercy, he is cute!

How did this young boy get started?  At the age of 9, his grandmother gave him his first sewing machine and showed him how to make bow ties from scrap material.

Mo started out selling his bow ties to older men in the neighborhood and kids at school.  He always carries his metal case full of bow tie samples.

He is just too adorable!  He has been on the Steve Harvey show, written up in The Commercial Appeal, R.s.v.p. magazine, and many other publications.  Of course he has his own website Mo's Bows Memphis, his own Facebook page, Twitter, and sells his ties online at his Etsy store.

Here are just a few of the cute bow ties he offers...

This bow tie is named "Laugh Out Loud"

Another cute design "aMAZing Noir"

"Designing a colorful bow tie is just  part of my vision to make the world a fun and happy place."

  2. A story like this about a young entrepreneur brings a full-blown smile to the face. What an enterprising young man. I would be amiss if I didn't mention his grandmother. They are both very blessed; he, to have a role model and helping hand; she, to have such a bright young grandson who is willing to learn and work hard.

  6. How adorable is this little man!! Very refreshing to see a boy his age wanting to use his time and energy on a venture that will enrich his life and not spend his time mindlessly engaged with all those electronic gadgets that are turning our children into little zombies. I may not personally know Moziah but my heart beams with pride for him!
And may I add, this young gent is one snappy dresser, another reason I had a smile on my face as I was reading! Thank you Miss Janice for bringing him to our attention!!
