Put the kettle on y'all! It's time for Downton Abbey. Tonight is the premiere of season 3 with the Crawley family and I'll be ready at 9:00 p.m. {ET} sharp!
I'm gonna get comfy and cozy and watch from my sofa with some hot tea and scones. Tonight I'll be sippin' Harney and Sons' Jasmine Fairy Maidens. This is a tisane...a caffeine-free infusion--not from the tea plant, but made from bark, flower, and seeds.
My coffee table is set for a "Low Tea" with a scone, lemon curd, double devon creme, and Jasmine Tisane.
I am an avid lover of tea and yesterday I really overindulged! I had tea in the morning with a small amount of fruit and tons of vitamins. Then, I went out to do some errands and shopping and stopped at Chick-fil-A and got an iced tea...still no solid food. By the time I arrived back home, I was shaking like a leaf from the caffeine on an empty stomach! So tonight, I'm taking it easy on the caffeine, but still getting that wonderful tea flavor.
Tea Tip: Who should not drink tea?
~Children under the age of two.
~Do not drink tea on an empty stomach, if you have a stomach ailment.
~Do not drink tea one hour before and after taking medications.
~Do not drink tea if you have a kidney problem; consult with your Doctor first.
~Do not drink tea before bedtime if you are a diabetic, elderly, or sick.
If you are a Downton Abbey fan, enjoy the show!
I received season one of Downton Abbey for Christmas, and I am looking forward to getting caught up, since I haven't watched before!
ReplyDeleteHave you tried the Paris blend. I love it!
ReplyDeleteoohh I love Downton Abbey too...have been watching since season one and never stopped :) I love all the PBS stuff....regular TV is horrible.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was FABULOUS. Went past my 10 p.m. bedtime but so worth it. Loved every scene.Wasn't sippin' tea though. I nibbled a raspberry filled cookie from Fresh Market's Columbus, GA. location. Yum, yum!
