Thank You for Remembering Miss Coco

Mademoiselle Coco Chanel


From the bottom of my broken heart, I want to thank y'all for all the sweet words you have sent to comfort me in the loss of my precious Yorkie, Coco Chanel.  Some of you asked about what may have happened to her.  We really don't know.  The day before she died, she rode in the car with my husband for their weekly "banky-bank" trip.  She also went to the vet for her Bordatella medicine.  Miss Coco had a couple of health issues but this was a complete shock to us.

On Wednesday morning, my husband heard her whimper a couple of times.  He walked over to see about her and she collapsed and died instantly.  I.  Am.  Lost.  Without.  Her.  Yesterday I went through several boxes of tissues over that little dog.  She was just too precious!

Today, I'm trying to pull myself together and get out of the house.  Again, I want to thank you so much for caring and remembering Miss Coco.

    I know how hard it is. Two years ago both of our dogs passed away. They were both 17 years old and not well but it was a shock to us still. When your dog isn't even sick...I just can't imagine.

    It's funny how a person can fall in love with a little dog they never met. Such is the case with Coco.

    This breaks my heart Miss Janice... have followed your blog for a couple of years. We had a yorkie that lived to be 17 but tragically drowned in our pool. It takes a long time to get over it. So sorry for your loss.

    Oh I am so sorry to hear about your sweet pet Coco. She was so cute and prissy. Hope you are perking up some today. I know it is difficult. Time heals all wounds including grief.

    I am so sorry for your loss. We lost our little Yorkie, also named Coco, about 12 years ago and I still miss her.

    I am so sorry to hear about Coco's death. I am just shocked! I can only imagine that she was your baby. We become endeared to pets just as we are endeared to people. I pray for comfort and peace for you. Though I don't know you personally, I grieve with you. May God wrap His arms of love around you.

    Being a dog owner helped me relate to your blog as I had a had a bit of a bohemian upbringing out west and am new to your prissy southern ways.
