Mlle Coco Chanel had a relaxing weekend...happy to be home. If you follow me on Twitter, you know that Miss Coco has been a very sick little dog. She had pancreatis last week and Friday was her first day back home. I'm happy to say that she is resting and is better now...
Although she's still not her perky, fashionable self...as she was last July 4th. She said a trip to the puppy spa is definitely in order for her!
Keeping it simple for meals, I brought out my "Weekend Dinnerware"...easy cleanup and still cute!
Spent some time working in the garden and sippin' sweet tea on the front porch...
"HERE'S WHAT I WORE" Keeping it casual and cool on a muggy Florida night, I wore my khaki Bermuda shorts and a black Ralph Lauren polo
A couple of my favorite jewelry pieces...I wore this darling Chanel charm bracelet and Chanel logo earrings...cute, cute, cute!
My pocketbook...a Burberry tote.
This was an option if it started to rain {Burberry umbrella and A/O Sperrys}...carried inside my tote!
SAY HELLO TO MY NEW BEACH CRUISER! Love this bike y'all! I used some of my birthday $$$ and got it from WALMART, yes ma'am! It is by Huffy...the 'Cranbrook Cruiser'.
Of course, I had to get this accessory...the bell. Ding a Ling!!!
The basket is from Nantucket Bike Basket. It is the 'Cisco' classic handlebar basket.
I was frustrated to find that the makers of bike bottle holders don't design them for the regular size water bottles--they design them for the larger race biker bottles:-( So I have to just throw my water bottle...covered with the darling koozie {from RougeAndCo} into the Nantucket basket. That's not a problem, 'cuz I'd rather do this than attach one of those ugly bike water bottle holders to the bike!
Can't leave home without the keys! Now my keychain is all Lilly-fied! My friend Joy gave me the little shift charm...I'm guessing she bought that in the Savannah, Georgia Lilly store. I just recently bought this little pocketbook charm. IdaClaire makes these...mine is the Lilly 'Taboo' print, monogrammed in pink. Just keeping it cute y'all!
Of course, I had to take my phone along...'cuz y'all know I'm on Casey Anthony verdict watch!!! The iPhone cover HAD to coordinate with everything...the 'Floaters' pattern by Lilly!
Thank y'all so much for stopping by today.
Sorry to hear about your puppy - hope she gets back to 100% very soon! Jennifer
ReplyDeleteReady for a verdict!! Cute outfits and table settings!

Always the Belle of the Ball! Hope pup is on the mend.
ReplyDeleteHope MLle Coco gets all better soonest!
ReplyDeleteYou look too precious! You are the most well dressed lady- you are so co-ordinated. You inspire me!

Hope your pup is feeling better!! Looks like you had a wonderful weekend!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad Coco is better. That is painful. Love your Fourth table settings. And the verdict is "in." Wow. The American court system works - the defense team planted reasonable doubt. And you have to have "without reasonable doubt" to be proven guilty. The prosecution didn't prove that. Oh well, tons of magazine stories, movies and everything else on this one. Will she serve prison time for misdemeanors? Who knows?
ReplyDeleteMiss Janice,
ReplyDeleteI love your new bike with all the accessories. You know how to do it right! Jon will be happy to hear that Mme. Coco is feeling better...we were both worried.
But what impressed me was the 'Star Red' Chanel lipstick! Since I wear enough make-up for us both, I wish I could have seen you in your 4th of July glory!
Warmly, Kathleen
Glad to hear Mlle. Coco Chanel is feeling better! What a perfect outfit for her on the 4th. Love your beach cruiser as well. I hope to get a new bike soon and simply must find such a cute basket! :)
ReplyDeletePoor Miss Coco... give her a hug for me. I can't stand to see animals feeling poorly.
ReplyDeleteI am jealous of that Huffy! Its a beauty.
I didn't know Miss Coco had been feeling poorly --- poor thing -- I know she's happy to be home with her mama! Looks like a great 4th at your house ---- LOVE your new wheels!
ReplyDeleteI SOOO want one of those bikes, Miss Janice! I've had my eye set on the purple one at Walmart for a while! Glad you had such a wonderful 4th!

Oh so glad to hear the darling pup is on the mend. That had to be a terrible scare. Your new bike is cute as a button. Your 4th weekend looks as though it was simply perfect.

Glad CoCo is getting better. Bella and Ladeda send their best to her. I did my part on the 4th by eating barbeque chicken dinner from my neighbors' grill and it was yummy.
ReplyDeleteI SO want a bike, just like yours, have been 'shopping' for one for ages and still can't decide...
ReplyDeleteGood for you!
Miss Kara
Your table is beautiful! I'm so happy Coco is feeling better. She is looking fabulous as always!
