MISS JANICE'S GOURMET PRODUCT OF THE MONTH

My elderly neighbor across the street recently went into the hospital for what supposed to be routine surgery and ended up in intensive care for over two weeks. His wife was, of course, beside herself with worry over him! A couple of days after his release, I decided to take them some muffins fresh from the oven...Sweet Potato Muffins.

I wrapped them up in an ivy print linen napkin and placed them in a basket to keep them warm...Remember y'all, it's the little things you do for others, that help to make someone else's day special!

These muffins are topped with a crunchy sugar topping and are scrumptious served at breakfast with coffee and heavenly served for supper with ham and green beans. Add chopped pecans, walnuts, or raisins if you choose. They are perfect for any time of the day.
The Sweet Potato Muffins are my Taste of Gourmet Product of the Month during March. TOG has a Product of the Month each month...a fundraising project to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Purchasing the Sweet Potato Muffins during the month of March will generate a $1.00 donation to St. Jude Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. The Hospital is devoted to research and treatment toward eliminating chronic childhood diseases like leukemia and is the only childhood cancer research center designated by the National Cancer Institute.

Each box of Sweet Potato Muffins makes 12 muffins or 48 mini muffins and cost only $7.95/box. Click here to place your order!

My neighbor came over later to thank me...she said "My husband wants me to get the recipe for the muffins...they were delicious!" I told her that I sell them and she said "I want three boxes!"

The muffin mix would make a perfect hostess gift or a treat for you and your family!

  3. I LOVE these muffins (and I don't even care for sweet potatoes). I've made them for some friends as well and they asked for the "recipe".

  8. I will have to try this mix. Looks and sounds delicious. I have to tell you that my bottle of the Berry BBQ sauce I bought from Taste of Gourmet fell out of the fridge and shattered on the floor. I nearly cried. That is the best tasting BBQ sauce. It's to die for!!!
