I decided to use the halloween tree I created last year to showcase my "Friendship Gifts" for October. I made this little tree by starting out with a cute urn I bought at HomeGoods last year...
There is a foam base inside the urn with some branches from the yard (which I spray-painted black) stuck into the foam base. The base is covered with moss...Voila!!! Easy halloween tree...with the "Friendship Gifts" hanging on orange dot ribbon.
This year I added some little black birds to the tree...
I bought the little gift boxes at Michaels, embellished them with some Martha Stewart spooky stickers, and filled them with shred and candy corn...
I just love my little Halloween tree y'all...it makes me smile everytime I go by!

Now, I have a winner for my "Paula Deen Loot Giveaway!" But first, I must tell y'all a story that happened since I posted about the giveaway. When I announced the giveaway, I told y'all that the winner would receive among other products, a Paula Deen "Hey Y'all" apron, just like this one that I wear.
Well, I placed the order for the apron last week and the order went through fine online; however, to my shock, when it arrived on Wednesday, it was a different color. Here's what came in the mail!Oh Lord, of course I liketa died! Having a complete hissy fit, I called customer service at PaulaDeenStore.com and the girl I spoke with said she wasn't sure if they carried the red one anymore and she then referred me to Paula Deen Enterprises. I called a number that I new to be in the South Georgia area and spoke with Maria. She listened to my pathetic plea about how I needed the white "Hey Y'all" apron with the red print for my blog "Giveaway Winner." Bless her heart, she tried to find the apron...but NO LUCK! It's been discontinued!!! (Discontinued???...a shopper's nightmare...don't y'all just hate those words!!!) I am so, so sorry to say that the winner will be receiving a different Paula Deen "Hey Y'all" apron...just as cute, don't y'all think? Oh, I do hope the winner won't be too mad at me!!!...'cuz y'all know there's a lot more cute Paula Deen loot in the market tote!
