ReplyDeleteHey Miss Janice!
ReplyDeleteLoved this post!! This was where my friend Dana stays every year and shops at that St. A's Lilly, so when she got to NYC and went to the Lilly store on Madison Ave, she sent me a picture of the sheer difference between the two stores!! (The pic that I sent to you).

Wow! That is one preppy hotel. Love it! xoxo
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!
ReplyDeleteMiss Janice- do you have any tips for a college girl (myself) throwing a Lilly themed party on a budget and lacking fine china? I already got the Lilly desert plates and beverage napkins!
Malloryann,
ReplyDelete~Go to a party store and load up on pink and green--flatware and other cute stuff.
~You can go to LillyPulitzer.com and print out the fabric patterns and use those to create accessories like placecards, cupcake flags, napkin rings, etc.
~Spray a metal pan hot pink or lime green and tie a cute preppy bow on each side and then fill it with ice and your beverages.
~If you have goblets, tie a preppy bow onto the stem.
If you would like, please e-mail with the specifics of your party and I will try to help more:)
Growing up I went to St Armand's Circle and the Long Boat Key area. My parent's have a house on the Southern most point of St Pete. We stayed at the Sun-Tide before they had the house. I am sure that the area is even better than what I remember it.
ReplyDeleteI want to stay there!!! Hope your having a great week! = )
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fabulous place to stay. The shopping looks great, too. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful inspiration! So much of the North/New England is ready for fall - not me! :) <3 XOXOOXXO
ReplyDeleteWhat a great hotel. Love the hallway!
ReplyDeleteOooh I love it!
