Election Day in America

Finally, the day is here.  Tomorrow is Election Day in the United States of America.  I must tell y'all that I've been in much prayer over this vote...praying for God's will to be done.

Our Country is divided right down the middle...half Republican, half Democrat. Lord have mercy. Can't we all just get along?

Four years ago on election day,  I wrote how I felt about my uncertain future.  As I'm now a senior citizen, I simply must be concerned about where I will spend my golden years...in a rest home!

So who will occupy The White House?  I can tell y'all this...I live in a house divided.  Ugh!  Husband and I are at opposite ends of the political rope.  I think I'll tie him up tonight so he can't go vote tomorrow!

Who will win?  Will it be the incumbent President Barack Obama and the First Lady Michelle Obama?

Or will it be Governor Mitt Romney and his wife Ann Romney?

All the mud-slinging political ads are done.  Those who were "Undecided" should have made up their minds by now.  The roadside signs hopefully will be gone very soon.  God bless the United States of America!!!!!!!!

  1. I too have been in prayer. I am 56 and I believe this is an election of my lifetime that will have generational effects. I have had feelings of physical sickness today over this election.

  2. Oh I admire you. I have often said that if Jay ever kicks the bucket that there are two prerequisites for my next husband.

    1. He must personally believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

    2. He can NOT be democrat.

  4. I can't imagine all the craziness that you get, living in Florida. Thankfully Alabama doesn't get much of all that- but I'm still so nervous about the outcome.

  5. We are a house divided as well, although this year Hubs came to his senses and voted as I did! But you're right, I wish this country was more about we instead of them and us. And I just saw that Florida was ranked 4th in political ads, so I am thankful that will be over as well.

  6. I have struggled and prayed over the Presidential race too. I voted (absentee ballot) a few weeks ago for the person I felt would do the best for us. And I have prayed since then that the best person would placed in the position regardless of how I voted.
