My makeup was taking over the vanity in our bathing area, so I decided to move all my Chanel cosmetics, fragrances, and accessories out to the boudoir. I really love it because I also have all my Chanel books and other loot all together in one area. The vanity table is really a better place to apply my makeup because of the long window behind it which provides a lot of natural light. The tabletop is quite crowded, but holds all my pretties and has drawers to store more of my Chanel goodies. I'm such a hoarder with makeup; when I find a certain color of lipstick, I will buy several tubes so I won't run out.
On the wall to the left of the table, I have a style board that holds my special Chanel cards and flower pins.
Very cute - love the dress form!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet dressing table! The dress form is so cute the way you have her styled. My dressing table was purchased at auction when I was expecting my oldest child. It will, in time, be passed on to her daughter.
ReplyDeleteAre Chanel cosmetics worth the price?
ReplyDeleteFarrah,
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! I have been wearing Chanel cosmetics for about 15 years. For me, I love the feel and the scents of all the Chanel products.
everything looks so pretty and polished!

Love your new dressing area....so pretty! I also wear Chanel cosmetics and love them as well as their skincare products. I dream of having a Chanel bag...gotta get the kids through college first and then I will have a little more in the budget for my wardrobe and accessories!
ReplyDeleteWhat do you think of St. John knits? You have GREAT taste!
Suburban Charm,
ReplyDeleteI love St. John Knits and have a couple of their suits. I think St. John is very stylish if you choose the right style. Here's hoping you get your Chanel bag one day!
Miss Janice
Love it! I used to have a dress form that I called 'Elizabeth Taylor'. She went bye-bye in the Estate Sale as I wasn't sure if I'd have room for her in the new townhouse. But I do and now I miss her. Off to Homegoods I go.
ReplyDeleteHello Darling,
ReplyDeleteLoVe the dressing table in the boudoir. I used to have my Grandmas' growing up but alas...my niece has it and I am SURE she doesn't appreciate it. But I digress... I want to know where you got the table...it has given me ideas for when I feel better!
Miss Kara ♥
Kara,
ReplyDeleteIf I was there I would help you find one! I got mine at a shop in Georgia. Will call you tomorrow!
