Joy's Beach Cottage

Super busy today! Finishing up Christmas shopping, completing all the Christmas decos, answering e-mails, and cooking for a Potluck Supper. I wanted to show y'all some of the photos of my recent trip to Savannah to visit with my friend Joy. Miss Joy operates her own business Tybee Joy Vacation Rentals in Tybee Island, near Savannah, Georgia. Miss Joy offers a variety of home and condo rentals for families and friends to make "joyful memories" together! The homes are decorated with Southern coastal charm, equipped with wi-fi, and some are pet-friendly and equipped with elevators. Check out Miss Joy's website and make Tybee Island your next beach vacation destination.

Joy was the perfect hostess! When I arrived, she presented me with the most precious gifts. We scooted the entire time I was there...
Miss Janice and Miss Joy waiting to dine at Paula Deen's "Lady & Sons" restaurant...

We enjoyed all foods...Southern and fried!

If you are ever in Savannah, stop in to shop at The Paris Market...they have the best Hot Chocolate Bar ever! I bought some cute stuff there to use in my "Paris in France" decorating theme this year.

Of course, we had to dine at Paula's brother's restaurant, Uncle Bubba's Oyster House...the best chargrilled oysters ever!

Joy took me inside Paula Deen's "Y'all Come Inn" cottage on Tybee Island...
Here I am with "Cardboard Paula" inside the kitchen of her rental cottage...

So, here are some photos of "Miss Joy's Beach Cottage". You can't see it {'cuz I'm not very good with photos}, but Joy's front door is lime green!

This is my friend Joy with her son Sean...he's a senior at Georgia Tech in Atlanta...

The foyer...with a table and mirror Joy painted....in shades of coastal blue!

The living room...lime green and chocolate brown walls. All the colors are perfectly blended for a fresh beach cottage feel! Miss Joy's furniture is all from Ikea or thrift store purchases refinished by her...
The sofa from Ikea with bright colored throw pillows...y'all she also has the light pink sofa cover...Lord have mercy!

Pretty coastal coffee table...

Love the basket, full of bright accent pieces...and check out the pink & green throw rug!
The stockings were hung...

An Ikea chair by the window...the area is all beached-up!

All her televisions are white y'all! That cracks me up:)
Another refinished table and mirror...

Look at her darling Christmas tree, with the coastal theme!
A coastal themed tree skirt...

A few of the coastal-themed ornaments and some that blend with her color theme...

Like my house and most other cottages, Joy's rooms are small. Here's the little kitchen...

The dining area...
Love this china cabinet! It's another refinished piece by Miss Joy:)
An old chandy that she refinished and then added the crytals...

Looking outside to the backyard. Autumn has arrived! I love her little "Painter's Shed" in the back of the photo...

Her coastal themed office...
Refinished chair and cute blue storage cabinet, also refinished by Joy...
Lime and turquoise in the guest room...
Cute shower curtain...oh-so cheery!

Coastal art and also the inspiration for her new company logo...

Lilly canvas art in the bedroom...

More Lilly canvas art to brighten the hallway...
Joy's bed...don't y'all just love it. All my photos were taken with my iPhone and don't capture the bright cheery colors. But the entire house is decorated in turquoise, lime green, and pink!!!
Cute little nightstand in the bedroom...

LOVE this frilly bedskirt!!!

Well, thank y'all for visiting with me today. I'm seriously finishing up Christmas stuff today and will post some photos soon of my Christmas decos. Don't get too excited:) It's not all that y'all!!!
