DERBY DAYS AND SHRIMP JULEPS IN THE SUMMER!!!

I've had a super busy weekend y'all. My long-time buddy Denny J was in town. We've known each other for many years and lived in the same town in three different states, so I love catching up with him. He was husband's roommate before I was married...

On Friday we went down to Ft. Lauderdale and I chose to wear this darling Lilly shift in the 'Derby Days--Low Riders' pattern. How cute is this one y'all? The print is just too stinkin' cute...
The pom fringe...Now that says "Miss Janice!"
Darlin' bows at the hem...
I wore my blue Lilly thong sandals and carried my Billie Ross of the Palm Beaches pocketbook. My ponytail was adorned with a matching blue grosgrain ribbon and I wore my pearl necklace, earrings, and bracelet, along with my rollring wedding band by Cartier. When outdoors, I wore my Chanel sunglasses and my fragrance of choice for the day was 'Wink' by Lilly.
The Lilly store is painted on the pocketbook...it was a must-have for Miss Janice and purchased several years ago on eBay!
Now y'all know Miss Coco had to get dressed up to meet her uncle Denny J! Look at this darling doggy bandanna Lynn Whelan made it for Miss Coco! It's the Lilly 'Derby Days--Low Riders' print. Mlle. Coco Chanel says "Merci, Mlle Lynn!"
Today, I welcomed guest #2 of 3, our pilot friend Jason B!

Before going out for dinner, I served Shrimp Juleps and Chardonnay...on the coffee table. Just another cute way to use my mint julep cups! (Note: I used a silver waste bowl for the discarded shrimp tails!)
Shrimp Juleps...very Southern y'all! Love these napkins from the Paula Deen line..."Let's Eat Y'all!"

"HERE'S WHAT I WORE" The Lilly dress is the coveted 'Shrimp Cocktail' pattern! I wore it with a 'Lilly Pink' cardigan.

This is my fav Lilly pattern...ever!
The bow at the hem makes it all-so-me!
I wore my Lilly pink mules, carried my Lilly monogrammed Bermuda Bag, and wore my pearl necklace and earrings, along with my rollring wedding band by Cartier. My ponytail was adorned with a pink grosgrain ribbon, my lipstick was 'Parfait' by Chanel, and my fragrance of choice for the day/evening was 'Wink' by Lilly.
Sippin' Chardonnay in the afternoon! Oh my!!!

Thank you so much for stopping in to visit with me. I hope y'all have a wonderful week!!!

The Derby Days dress is so cute! I don't think I've ever seen a dress that had pom pom fringe on it! I LOVE ball fringe! That purse with the Lilly store on it is too cute!

Dear Miss Janice,

What a casual, yet elegant, presentation of shrimp and chardonnay...but the waste bowl is simply brilliant. What would we do without you?

Thank you, as always!

Miss Janice, I always love when you tell us what you wore. It's nice to know that there are still people who put an effort into making sure their outfits are perfectly coordinated (and I do mean perfectly! You always look great!) Question- you always wear Lilly's Wink perfume, have you ever tried out any of the others? I've never tried Squeeze but I'm a big fan of Beachy!! xoxo

Elisa,
The blue and white pocketbook is made by "Billie Ross of the Palm Beaches." I bought mine about 4 or 5 years ago on eBay. I do believe I've seen another one eBay since then. Keep searching on eBay!!
